Bedugul Bali Tour

The famous Tanah Lot sea temple which was built by Dang Hyang Nirartha is the first point to be visited and then followed by visiting Alas Kedaton where the monkeys living here are considered sacred. Afterwards drive to Bedugul to see the superb view of lake Beratan which is also very famous for its Ulun Danu Temple built on the shores of the lake and the spice / fruit market at Candikuning. Final stop will be made at Mengwi, was one of the main island kingdom, to see one of the grandest water garden temple on the island called Taman Ayun which was built around 1740 and symbolizing the cosmic union of sea and mountain.

Tanah Lot Temple
The name of Tanah Lot temple in tourism bibliography about Bali almost never absent. Among those temples as a tourist visit it is probably Tanah Lot is second most popular after Besakih. The name Tanah Lot is probably from " tanah laut " means land in the sea. It is the fact that the strong sea abrasion has separated the temple area with Bali mainland, so it looks that the temple nests on a small speck of rock building up on the ocean. Despite the fact that strong hit of sea wave but the site is still standing while the whole side have disappeared by the raged waves of hundreds of years.

Alas Kedaton Monkey Forest
Alas Kedaton or Holy Forrest is a small forest measuring about 12,00 ha. In this forest is an old temple and to the south East of the temple is small field called the Monkey Cemetery but so far the truth of the story has never been confirmed. There are hundreds of monkeys in this forest and high up on the big trees many bats are hanging and singing with their loud voices.

Bedugul , Lake Beratan, Ulundanu Temple
Bedugul, 18 km north of Denpasar and 1400 meters above sea level, is known for its excellent golf course. The three lakes of the area provide the water for the fields, rivers and springs on the plains below. Lush pine forests make for clean air. The area renowned for its fruit and vegetables. A beautiful sight is the "Ulun Danu" temple which seems to rise out of the lake Beratan.

Taman Ayun
Pura Taman Ayun has never forgotten by any sightseeing itinerary with the destination of west and north Bali. The temple is also used as a special place of events such as incentive program with Bali cultural night. With the temple architecture as background it is a real Balinese royal feast. The establishment of Pura Taman Ayun is related to the development of Mengwi kingdom in 17th century. A manuscript describing the birth of Mengwi kingdom called " Babad Mengwi " gives a description that the founder of the kingdom I Gusti Ngurah Putu after succeeded in extending his emporium he built Ulun Danu temple on the bank of lake Beratan, than moved his palace from Balahayu to Mengwi and built Taman Ayun temple. The date of construction is expressed on a carved door with chronogram reads " Sad Bhuta Yaksa Dewa " means 1634 AD.
